Employees Give a Lot to Give-a-Little Campaign

Last year, Compuware employees gave generously to the “Give a Little Bit” U.S. charitable-giving campaign, raising more than $42,000 for dozens of local charities throughout the nation.

This year Lisa Elkin, Compuware vice president – marketing and communications, encouraged employees to exceed last year’s amount.

Oh! You Beautiful Doll, You Little Bitty Beautiful Doll

When it comes to the Goodfellows Best-Dressed Doll Contest, Compuware employees are on a roll.

For the third year in a row, a Goodfellows doll dressed by a Compuware employee ranked in the top three winners in the Nov. 21 citywide contest. LaTeia Smith, systems designer, used her artistry to outfit a third- place winner with a reddish ball gown. Her other doll, dressed in shimmery gold material, ranked in the top 10.

The company has long been a financial supporter of the Goodfellows Contest, and has displayed the dolls in the final competition since 2003. (more…)

Atlanta Office Is Helping to Get Kids Off the Street

Standing up for kids: The Atlanta connection.

The streets aren’t meant to be home for kids. But many times they are.

This tragedy has caused more than 20 employees from Compuware’s Atlanta office to support StandUP For Kids, a national non-profit organization based in Atlanta. For nearly 20 years, the agency’s mission has been to end the cycle of youth homelessness.

Employees assisted the organization during October, the company’s Global Volunteer Month, when more than 525 colleagues across the world helped make a difference in their communities. (more…)
